A booking is confirmed only after Coast 2 Coast Weighing has accepted the requested service, location, date and price.
The customer must provide complete and accurate information about the vehicle, caravan, trailer, number of axles, location and requested service.

The driver must:
-
Hold a valid licence for the vehicle

A vehicle appears unsafe to move or weigh

A person refuses to follow a reasonable safety direction
-
Children, pets or bystanders cannot be kept clear

Our workers are subjected to threatening, abusive or unsafe behaviour
-

We will explain the reason where reasonably practicable.
Stopping unsafe work does not amount to a breach of contract by Coast 2 Coast Weighing.
11. Weather and Environmental Conditions
Mobile weighing may be affected by rain, storms, flooding, extreme heat, high winds, poor visibility or other unsafe conditions.
We may postpone or reschedule an appointment where conditions may affect safety, equipment or measurement reliability.
Where Coast 2 Coast Weighing postpones an appointment for safety reasons, we will offer a reasonable alternative appointment.
12. Site Access and Delays

-
The customer is not present
-
The vehicle is not available or prepared
-
The site differs substantially from the information supplied
-
The weighing area is unsuitable
-
The vehicle cannot be safely moved
-
Uncontrolled hazards prevent the work
Any additional charge will be reasonable and reflect travel, waiting time, work performed and costs incurred.

For the most useful result, the customer should present the vehicle, caravan or trailer as close as reasonably possible to normal travelling or operating conditions.
This may include the usual:

-
Tools
-
Food

Any additional work requested during the appointment may require a revised price.
15. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment method and by the due date stated in the booking confirmation or invoice.
Coast 2 Coast Weighing may withhold a report until the agreed payment has been received, except where prohibited by law.
The customer is responsible for reasonable recovery costs resulting from an overdue amount, but only to the extent those costs were reasonably incurred and are permitted by law.

The site is unsuitable despite the requirements having been provided
